At the age of three, Maria embarked on her new life as a mother and daughter with Laura. She revealed on her show that she had recently adopted a small girl from Guatemala, calling her journey to bring her new daughter, Maria Caroline, home “the most amazing few days that I’ve ever spent in my life and the best thing I’ve ever done.”

Laura Adopted Her Second Child, Michael Dmitri Ingraham
After Maria, Laura’s second adopted kid, Michael Dmitri Ingraham, became a member of the family in 2009. Michael’s adoption at the age of one brought him a loving home and a host of fresh opportunities, marking a significant turning point in his life.
