Despite same last name, Chris O’Keefe and Andrew O’Keefe are not related!

People assumed that Chris O’Keefe is related to Andrew O’Keefe due to their similar surname and they both hail from Sydney, Australia. Though, they are not even distantly related.

When word spread that Andrew had been arrested again following his court appearance, online users started to wonder about his family background. 

In addition, Andrew is one of seven siblings, along with Sophie, Philip, Vanessa, and Roger. Chris, on the other hand, seems to be a single child based on the information that is available about his family.

The fact that Andrew and Chris O’Keefe have completely separate family trees and are unrelated to one another was confirmed by this evidence.

Although they have no connection, Andrew and Chris O’Keefe have similar professions as journalists!

Both of them have similar surname and they  last name and gained infamy from their work on numerous television networks. 

Barry O’Keefe, Andrew’s father and a judge on the New South Wales Supreme Court, advised him to study law and the arts at the University of Sydney. 

In addition, he debuted on television in 2003 with the Big Bite program on Channel Seven. He later moved on to larger networks and presented Seven’s newest game show, The Chase Australia. 

Even though Andrew had a prosperous journalism profession, he was unsuccessful in his personal life. He and his wife split up after an arrest warrant was obtained for him on allegations of assault and domestic abuse.

Chris, on the other hand, was born and raised in the St. George region and attended Waverly College prior to starting a career. 

In addition, he received praise for his work on Today, A Current Affair, and Nine Entertainment and was honoured with other prestigious media accolades. 

Separated by their occupation and last name, Chris and Andrew have lived quite different lives and are in quite different places.
