Hadley Duvall, a prominent advocate for women’s empowerment who gained notoriety for advocating for abortion rights in Kentucky, talked of having a difficult upbringing because of her abusive stepfather, Jeremy Whitledge, and her alcoholic mother, Jennifer Adkins Miller.
Hadley Duvall, who will be 22 years old, disclosed the misbehaviour of her stepfather with her. She also shared how he began ill-treating her when she was five years old. Moreover she got pregnant by her step-father she was just twelve.
“I remember finding out I was pregnant as a 7th grader and feeling completely alone in the world,” she says, recalling the terrifying moment in her life.

Hadley Duvall may have thought her mother, Jennifer Adkins Miller, was powerless to protect her from her stepfather, Jeremy Whitledge, because of her mother’s struggles with substance abuse and alcoholism.
She was also afraid that she would destroy the family, which other people thought was ideal, if she told her mother what was going on.
Hadley Duvall said that her parents used to travel for family vacations, celebrate Christmas at her stepfather’s house, and see her cheerleader compete. These actions demonstrated that her parents were live a regular life and were a picture-perfect family, which she did not want to sabotage.
