Pauly Shore, American Comedian Actor and His brother Had Legal Battles With Brother, Peter, But Resolved Now

American comedian and actor Pauly Shore was raised alongside his sister Sandy Shore and brothers Peter and Scott Shore.

American comedian and actor Pauly Shore was raised alongside his sister Sandy Shore and brothers Peter and Scott Shore.

Pauly was born on February 1, 1968. His parents are Mitzi Shore, the proprietor of a comedy club, and comic Sammy Shore.

His parents opened up “The Comedy Store” with Rudy De Luca. As part of the settlement from his parents’ divorce, mum Mitzi ran the Comedy Store until her passing.

Peter, Pauly’s Brother Had  A Noticeable Career In Film And TV

Born on December 4, Peter is Pauly’s older brother and a professional producer, writer, and director.  He began directing with the TV series “A Current Affair” (1986–1996), according to IMDb.

He then went on to direct “Worst Case Scenarios,” “Hard Copy,” and “The Comedy Store’s 20th Birthday.”  In 2000, he made his feature film debut as a producer with “C-Sam,” then in 2001, he produced “Don’t Make Me Blush.”

“The Comedy Store,” “Hat Trick,” “Sarah Tiana: 44,” “Maz Jobrani: The Birds & The Bees,” and “#Cancelholtzman” are among his most recent producing credits.  Among his published works is “The Comedy Store’s 20th Birthday,” penned in 1992.

Pauly Shore and Brother Peter had a Legal Conflict

In December 2009, Pauly filed a lawsuit against Peter, claiming that Peter had wrongfully removed him from the board of the family business and citing possible elder abuse of their ailing mother, Mitzi Shore.

Pauly claims that because of his mother Mitzi Shore’s Parkinson’s disease, she is “rendered susceptible to unscrupulous behaviour and other undue influence,” according to court documents.

Pauly claimed that Peter “took unfair advantage of his filial relationship with Mrs. Shore and her mental capacity to coerce Mrs. Shore into removing (Pauly) from the company’s board of directors” when their mother’s health began to decline.

The only directors of The Comedy Store in Los Angeles were Pauly, Peter, and Mitzi Shore. Peter Shore served as the CEO and oversaw day-to-day operations.
